Patient has sciatica neuralgia and right knee pain for many years. Selected Ling Gu (R’t) and Da Bai (R’t) for the left Sciatica neuralgia, and added Xin Men (L’t) for right knee pain. Patient felt much better after only receiving two treatment sessions. (Sub-note: Xin Men (33.12) is the primary point for knee pain.) Case (2)
After a fall on the tailbone, the patient often felt pain in the coccyx area. At the time of the initial intake, there was also pain present in the Jian Jing (GB 21) area. The points that were used are as follows: 'two needles for coccyx', Xin Men 66.05 (heart gate) for coccyx pain, plus Yang Ling Quan GB34 for pain in the Jian Jing area. There was significant improvement in the patient’s condition after the first treatment. The patient was completed healed after the second treatment with the same point protocol. (Sub-note: Yang Ling Quan (GB34) is especially effective for the treatment of pain in the Jian Jing area). Case (3)
A patient suffered from lingering symptoms of Common Cold. Currently still have a sore throat, right shoulder soreness and pain, lose stool with dampness. Needle the Common Cold 2 Needle Combination: Yu Ji (LU 10)(Left Hand) and San Cha San (A.04) (Right Hand), for sore throat and shoulder pain.
Add Men Jin (66.05) Point for loose stool with dampness. Patient can feel the relief of the sore throats and the shoulder pain was decreased. (Sub-note: Men Jin is the primary point for treating diarrhea)
Pain in the back of the neck, worse with turning movement. Pain radiates from Tai Yang point to the back of head. Needle: Cheng Jiang (R 24), with two points for headache: Da Bai (22.05), San Ca San (A.04). Neck is more comfortable after needling. Second visit: needle Zheng Jin (77.01) and two points for headache, patient got completely relieved. (Sub-notes: Cheng Jiang as the special point for neck pain, as well as Zheng Jing)
