Sometimes when something bad happens we tend to get stuck in the unfairness or the crappy situation.
It's super helpful if you can get out of self-pity mode and ask yourself what you really want.
At times, we weren't truly happy before either but we accepted to keep it as it was. Because change can be scary or at least very inconvenient.
So, when it seems like everything is going down the drain, it can actually be a good thing. Sometimes in hindsight, you may say that it was the best thing that ever happened - because it freed you.
It forces you to make a change you wouldn't have made without this pressure you're under.
